I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2000.
My main training took place over a number of years at the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy in Toronto, and I continue my education with workshops, conferences, courses and seminars.
I participate in two peer supervision groups, and have volunteered as a board member with the Psychotherapy Referral Service.
I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and am a clinical member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy, and of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists. I am also a member of the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysts and Psychotherapists
I have a BA in English Language and Literature. Before training to become a therapist, I worked as a musician, and piano teacher and examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music.
I have practiced yoga and meditation for many years, and, if appropriate, I incorporate mindfulness as a therapeutic technique.
